Continental Acquires Family-Owned Belting Manufacturer, WCCO Belting

Continental Expands Conveying Solutions Business

Continental has acquired WCCO Belting, a family-owned belting manufacturer headquartered in Wahpeton, North Dakota. WCCO Belting is now a product brand under ContiTech USA Inc, a Continental company.

Edward Shorma founded WCCO Belting nearly 70 years ago, and the company has been a leader in the conveyor belting industry ever since. WCCO Belting manufactures a wide range of conveyor belting products, including smooth texture pattern belting and cleated belting for package handling, construction, sand and gravel recycling, and other applications.

Continental's acquisition of WCCO Belting will strengthen its position as a leading provider of conveying solutions. WCCO Belting's products will complement Continental's existing portfolio of conveyor belting products, and the company's expertise in the conveyor belting industry will be a valuable asset to Continental.
